GoToVU How do I withdraw without incurring fees?If you are a Higher Education (HE) student, you can discontinue units or your course before Census date online via MyVU (Top left dropdown menu > My Course > Edit enrolment) without financial or academic penalty. You can still withdraw after Census date but you will be liable for fees.
If you are a VE/TAFE student, you need to visit any VUHQ or Victoria Polytechnic who will initiate the withdrawal process for you.

Withdrawing and applying for the same course in the future
If you withdraw from your course then change your mind, you will be able to apply for the same course in the future. If you have already taken some units in your course, you can still receive credit by applying for Advanced Standing.
In Block Mode and the First Year Model, you can withdraw from a unit online via MyVU before the Census date for that block without financial or academic penalties. The Census date for each block is the second Monday of the block. You can still withdraw from a unit after the Census date but you will be liable for fees.
