Medicare Supplement Plans

With a Blue Cross® Medicare Supplement plan, you'll get a great value from a brand you know and trust. You may have lower out-of-pocket costs than you would with a Medicare Advantage plan, and you can choose any doctor who accepts Original Medicare.

How Medicare supplement plans work

Medicare supplement plans pay most of the costs you share with Original Medicare. They can help fill in the coverage gap, so you'll have fewer unexpected costs. You'll also get extra benefits, like nationwide coverage for when you travel. And you won't need any referrals to see specialists.

Keep in mind Medicare supplement plans don't include prescription drug coverage or routine dental, vision or hearing coverage.
